Lump at injection site

Hi. Our 3 had their first annual boosters at the weekend and now we've noticed a tiny lump at the injection site (I'm assuming) on Moonlight. Just had a bit of a look on the web and most sites seem to be saying this can happen however it can also be a sarcoma/the injection can cause a sarcoma - and to go to the vet if it doesn't go in about 6 weeks/is more than 2cms etc.

I'm going to wait and see for a bit but obviously am a bit worried. Does anyone else have any experience of this? Thanks

I'm so paranoid regarding vaccines and have read extensively about them since we lost our last kitten to FELV. I know it is important that they be giving non-adjuvanted vaccines because the other type can cause sarcomas.

I do think though it can be common for a small lump to develop without it being anything. I know that if it doesn't disappear, it is a good idea to have it removed to prevent it from spreading.

I wouldn't worry yet - most likely it will go away on it's own.

Yep one of mine had a reaction too & although I work at a vets I panicked like hell,it was a fair size but luckily my breeder friend came round & calmed me down & said stop & think, then had to phone work back to say my cat wasn't suffering from cancer & I didn't have to take him up straight away & if necessary operate on him that very day,took nearly a month to resolve & a lot longer before my work mates let that one go to bed......
