Oh gosh..... I have to update this thread. I am sorry to rattle on... I didn't think it was possible. But Teddy B has gotten even more loveable. He loves to roll around in my arms and on my chest exchanging hugs and kisses nonstop. Rubbing up against my face, holding my face tenderly with both his soft paws. And he just loves to have every inch of his body rubbed. Feet, armpits, tummy etc... He is a kitten, and loves to play, but he takes extremely frequent breaks for love fests. We are talking perhaps every 10 minutes or so. He runs up to me and meows, "I love you". How can I ignore that? And sleep? No more than 2 feet away if not in my arms.
When me and my daughter left for the pet store, my husband said that he meowed after we left. It was nice being off work with him today. But he is making it increasingly difficult to leave for work.
To any person thinking about getting a MC, don't even think twice.
Well he is back. GTG...

I am using this thread sort of as a diary of teddy Bearz's growing up. No need to reply as a courtesy. I understand.

Anyways, today, Teddy B freaked out my adult daughter. I called her on the phone, from work, for an update on my handsome baby. Moments after she answered the phone, Teddy walked into the living room and spoke "hello" in perfect english. She said he sounded like a parrot.
It creeped her out.
After some thought, I reaziled that I say "hello Teddy I love you too" a bajillion times a day. I do it every time he walks up to me and meows. Makes you think....Last edited by candes; 3rd September 2010 at 08:45 AM.

My baby arrived yesterday
We always swear that daughters cat says Marrrmey, she always used to use that word with her, just plain mummy was for the dog,so they new the difference of who she was talking too & I thought I was mad.Anyway back to the thread,if we used to pick her up to stay for a few days she used to cry for marrmey all the way home & she would sit on the windowsill the first day & every car that came up she would call out the same word,by the second day we were back to normal chirrups, until mum arrived to pick her up,we have had people here when it has happened & they all have passed the comment that they were sure the cat had just spoke marrmey as she ran to meet mum....Whose to say, perhaps some others have had the same experience, wouldn't it be great if it wasn't just our imagination !

Well, our Minnie can sound eerily human... when she wants cuddles she walks up to me going "Wa-haaa?" in an asking way.
And Monty sometimes trots around the place mumbling to himself: "Proot-woot" with every step he takes.

Blimey, Freyja scared the crap out of me the first time she played hide and seek; if she actually started vocalizing human words I'm pretty sure I'd be the first to the top of her very tall cat tower!! And I'm a Sarf Eest Lundun gal, so my command of English leaves something to be desired... Plus I'm still learning MC at the moment!

Yes, I can remember being freaked out by my childhood MC doing this. They seem more adept at humanlike vocalizations. Real or not, you almost feel like you are watching the twighlight zone. (remember the talking doll?)
Oh and I have to post this pic. Chasing butterflies in his sleep. Unfortunately it was on my dining room table. Lucky for him, I wasn't home.
Hopefully he shook his wee wee after going potty.

Congratulations! He is a real trophy, both by looks and the character. And instant bond with you.

Just a cute pic that I had to share. I used the hairdryer not even a foot away. And he slept like that the entire time. Life can be such bliss for kittens.
Oh yeah, and Teddy B has misplaced (lost) every one of his toys. We are talking like 12 plus toys... So this morning, I found the USB photo printer cable (all tied in a bunch) laying next to his food dish.Last edited by candes; 7th September 2010 at 06:38 AM.
