Lovely cats Jackie. Many years ago I had cats named Pansy Potter and Merlin! I've never come across anyone else with a cat called Pansy Potter before. I was never quite sure where the name came from, it just popped into my head when I first saw the kitten. I'm now thinking it must be a character name that I had in my subconscious - great name though!

I think Auntie Victoria got carried away with camera at the weekend....! All the cats did have a super time with their own personal "cat player"though, I am sure they are missing their Uncle Jason who was down on the floor playing with them as soon as he entered the room, everytime I get down to brush the mat or pick something up I have six expectant faces looking at me waiting for the fun to start.
Pansy had her name from the breeder, because of the problems she was born with her little face stayed looking the same & the breeder thought she looked like the flower so when she came to us we added on the Potter just seemed to go but when she is feeling important she goes as Pansy P {Miss} !!! Weird that you also had a Merlin we put daughters name in the middle hence Merlyn but to have two cats with same names is a bit unreal especially as PP is a bit different, would love to see some pictures if you have any Joolz.

They have such lovely shiny coats - gorgeous, what do you give them Jackie? I loved seeing the Tigga Towers in action too! It's one thing seeing them on the website and quite another seeing one in it's natural habitat. The main thing I gleaned from the video's is that Mufasa is very chunky indeed!

I'll have a look, but this was over 30 years ago, so any we do have will probably be buried deep in the loft. Merlin was a beautiful black with white bib and socks boy, and he and his sister, Topsy were the first two cats I had. Pansy Potter arrived when I moved from a flat to the house I still live in. I thought he was a she but no he turned out to be a slightly mis-named beautiful big fluffy black and white boy. With all the animals I have had their names just pop into my head on first meeting, apart from the two living with me now, and for some reason I had a real problem finding the names. I'm still not sure they are the right ones, and sometimes I wonder if its because we didn't exactly choose each other. We were each other's only option! However I did look up Pansy Potter just to check if the name exists somewhere, and it does. Pansy Potter was a character in the Beano comic - so maybe we did both choose the name because it resided in our subconscious brain!

They do love their Tigga Tower it was well worth us being on a baked bean diet for a while,we have had it for nearly two years now & its still as good as new which is great with that lot using it to its full potential,I think my Welly is more like your Mufasa a solid chunky lad, another thing that I like about MC's is the different sizes you get all depending on their lines,it is going to be very interesting to see how Ruby ends up as all the others have something different about them,as to shiny coats nothing special really they are fed cheap tinned meat & a few good biscuits, the ones that I have noticed make a difference to their coats is the Hills Natures Best that does seem to have an oily feel to it & although they don't have that much of it in the course of a week when they went without for over a month their coats did take on a duller look so coincidence or not don't know but put it back into their mix, can't even say its down to grooming because except for ocassional slicker brush thats it.....x

How true that could be about the subconcious thoughts, I used to pinch my unc's Beano to read when I went to visit gran, felt that as he was a grown man I could justify making it disappear.Would love to see pics if you can find them but just by your descriptions can imagine my Welly being close to PP. I think you are right about names as well the animals that I have just looked at & bonded with straight away have had names come very easily but others have had to work a bit harder to get what seems right, all good fun though......
