A Day In The Life Of Sasha Fierce
Oh what a day! Got up extra early and cleaned up the house extra good (nesting I suppose
). Then ran off to the pet store to stock up for Sashas arrival. After this is when my hectic day started. We left 1 hour and 15 min before we had to pick up Sasha. It took us 2 hours to go 30 miles. Construction, heavy rains, rush hour, zero road visability, and an incompacitated truck. You get the idea of how we felt. This is very difficult to type right now. My Sasha is tuckering me out. More on that later. But I have a kitten butt and every other body part, in my face as I type.
When we called to report our later arrival the breeder chuckled understandingly. "Oh it is raining out, relax and take your time". The road we were driving is considered one of the nations most dangerous roads. My husband was driving but I was still a ball of nerves. (Finally Sasha is napping on my feet. I hope this lasts longer than the last one.
)
When we arrived at the drive to turn down, there were a zillion private road signs and huge lamps on both sides of the drive lighting the way for what seemed like an eternity. Soo beautiful to see! After some time we arrived at the end of the drive to be greeted by a massive and beautiful mansion. Was this the place? When I tried to call, my cell signal was gone. So I went to the front door and saw furries inside. We have arrived. Beautiful house, beautiful people, and beautiful kitties. These people were perfect in every way.
Their house smelled wonderfully like a fancy shop. I felt like I was in wonderland. Did we die and go to kitty cat heaven? The lady of the house showed us the meals she prepared. Fancy plates made up of selected delicacies of delelctable morsels. Looks like our Sasha is royalty.
The next thing I know a blur jumps up to my face and kisses me on the lips about 50 times. I am not exaggerating. (Not licks, but actual kisses.) This fly by kisser was my Sasha. She knew I was her mommie even before I did! The breeder and her husband flashed furiously with their camera. They were so happy to see Sasha so happy to greet us. And we passed the test. Not everyone gets to leave with one of their babies. No wonder Sasha was so inexpensive. It was not the money, but the proper placement that was most important to them.
But there is even more to this mysterious gal. She has the energy of a race car. Zip zip zoom... I was so tired that I fell asleep by accident on my couch. And kept waking up to a soft face kissing me. Finally I woke up for good, and went off in search of my Sasha. She was in the bedroom keeping my husband awake.
And tormenting Cleo. Tee hee... The next post will be about her arrival at home.

I still can't decide if that encounter was a mirage similar to the movie Brigadoon, and my Sasha was a gift from heaven. Or if it actually happened. I should have had my husband pinch me. My feelings? Perhaps this really was a gift from heaven for my Teddy.
We arrived at home. And I proceeded to take Sasha to our bedroom for some quiet time. Ok perhaps she didn't need this.
Anyways, all my other cats came running to the bedroom and we couldn't get them out. So instead I closed THEM in the bedroom. Zip zip zoom... Sasha covered every inch of my house in minutes. Jackie was right and this time things didn't go as planned. I went to go get Sashas litter pan, and Cleo escaped from the bedroom. Immediately he ran over and kissed her! So I closed the door with Cleo out and about with Sasha. One down...
I hadn't eaten all day, so sat down for a quick meal. Zip zip zoom.... It's a bird, it's a plane, no it's super Sasha. She is a darn good jumper and explorer. And can eat pretty darn good. The breeder weighed Sasha for me before we left. She is 2.9 pounds (1.3 kg) at 10 weeks. Oh and her birthday is 9-9-11. I have also noticed that 100% of her sleeping is done on a human. (She is on my lap as I am typing.) Now she is watching the words as they get typed on the screen. While sitting on my crossed kneecap. Ah she likes the mouse pointer and is trying to catch it. Earlier she aborted the download of my camera pictures. Whew, still there!
Sasha did so well with Cleo that I carried her into the bedroom for just a quick flash past Teddy and Nala. No squawks by Nala, so I let Nala slip out into Sasha land also. Teddy ran under the bed. He was frightened!
Good going you overgrown baby! I then let Sasha down in the bedroom. Immediately she ran to the pet store bag and pulled out her new toy! How did she know! I then carried her and her toy back to the living room. Teddy Bearz eventually snuck out and has been watching her intently with much interest. All while she used me as a jungle gym. Tuckered out I fell asleep knowing that all my kitties are fine. At my normal bedtime, she will be locked up in the bedroom alone with me. Same for work. You just never know even though everything is smooth sailing.
Ok she just deleted my entire post. I knew better and kept saving. I will update this post with pics in about 15 min since I better get this posted ASAP.

I am just doing a whole new post since I can see a wonderful friendship forming as I gather pictures. Teddy Bearz is getting obsessed with Sasha. Following her everywhere. He looks extremely curious and happy. This is exactly what I was hoping for. She was a gift from god. I can cry tears of joy! Plan success!
Grey kitty is her daddy and the high white is her mommie. Her dad is sooo incredibly long! And so is Sasha. Oh and Jackie, there were 3 high white kitties. I always get similar kitties mixed up. I knew not to trust myself. See?

All is quiet right now so I went to check to make sure no one "got her". She is sleeping next to Cleo, and Teddy is watching. She seems to like my old guy. Maybe since he was the first to meet her.
Ok that was one of her 2 minute naps. Now her and Teddy Bearz are exchanging paw taps AKA playing gently.

Luv luv luv her, even more than the one you thought, mum looks very long as well & Sasha has the same white splodge on her back too, could cry for you all at the moment just so happy they all seem to be getting on well & that Teddy B seems to like the idea of a bimbo to show off....
Was she just about to scale the chair side in one of the pictures.
Can I place a bet on how long it is before the next round is posted....xxx
