I am pretty sure my cat is atleast part Maine Coon.

Can anyone clarify with their own opinion. He acts like a maine coon. I love him :P Hes also 1 yrs old and 11 lbs. He grew up way too fast :P
He also has a mane but his collar keeps it from showing!!

Yup he is at least part MC. That's a definate. You can tell mostly by his build. Although on the small side, weight wise. He is quite a handsome dude.

Well thanks alot :P I love this little guy, I didnt even know he had some in him until someone said something. I then read up on him and almost everything they say about their personalities is how he is, I think he will end up growing more, I feed him very well, only the healthy stuff. Is he suppose to be bigger? I definitly thought he would get bigger after getting neutered.

Although I am clueless about how much Teddy Bearz weighs, I would guestimate it at 18-20 pounds. And he is 13 months. If that gives you an idea of how much a full breed MC can weigh. I also guestimate him to be about 4 feet long. Teddy Bearz is full breed. Yours weighs around what a female MC may weigh. Give or take some.... Which makes it not likely he is full breed. The odds of getting a free full breed MC are not very good. Although it can rarely happen. One thing I can't tell by your pics is his tail length. Last I measured Teddy Bearzs tail about 4 months ago, it was 15 inches long. Their tails swish around like snakes.

Oh and one more thing. Although your kitties face is very close to a MC's, it is off somewhat. Something about the sum of the features. I think he is part MC and inherited a good bit off his MC side.

Yeah Maddys tail is pretty long, he also has the big rounded paws with ear tusks. He is a pretty long cat actually. Yes I think that he is only part Maine coon. Yours looks full Maine coon. He is also missing the snout, usually Maine coons have sqaure noses, I am glad though that I have a partial Maine coon, they are the best cats arent they :P I spoil mine to death..hahah hes like my child.

    Hi
I would say only part maine coon, I have two males and at a year old one is 14pnds and one is 15 pnds, even my year old girl is 13 pnds so he is a bit light. The other thing is coonies grow slowly so dont mature until they are 2 - 2 1/2 so its unlikely a year old cat would have a full mane. You can tell by the feathers in the ears, tips on the ears and feathers on the underneath of paws.

Whatever he is he is preety gorgeous.

Maine Coons are so popular that they're a lot of Maine Coon mixes out there, even if they don't have all of the Maine Coon's physical characteristics the Maine Coon's wonderful personality seen to shine through.
They're are awesome cats even if they're not pure bred.
outside of my late beloved Samantha one of my favorites is Micmac, he not 100% Maine Coon but he has the wonderful Maine Coon personality.
