The Mainecoon website written to protect breeders and new owners has been revised
Apparently the website as below had too much information

I May have posted this in the wrong section, I am new to this forum thing... But I came from reading the rules and regulations.. as I take full responsibility for this posting.
*Maine coon Breeders from hell.... Suzanne M Zech and Christine Smith
It has now be updated and revised with bullets points on what is on there.
It is written to protect breeders and new owners. One New owner, who is a member of this forum, has written comments that are libelous against Mrs Walton.
There are always two sides to every story, as we all know, but ASK you’re self after you have read the bullet points… WHAT you would do when every avenue you have explored legally HAS come to nothing.

**watches as this post flies WAYYYYYY over his head.
This may sound unsympathetic but anyway here goes..
I honestly dont know what you are saying in this post, and the website thats linked in your post just throws information at me without actually explaining anything. Sure, if I had the motivation to spend 30 mins reading through it all and then putting it all together I expect I could understand it.
The best I can make out is:- Someone loaned someone some cats. They didnt give them back. Some money was involved. ???
Sorry :(

To make it clear...
Two cat where bought of another breeder on 15th December 2009
Zech was looking after them while they did their quarantine minimum 3 weeks in uk. A favour in return for this was offered and accepted in return.
Another breeder Christine Smith, basically said the cats where in danger because she knew that Mrs Zech cats of Zecoona Maine coons where very sick
When asked and arrangements where made:-
Zech refused to give the cats back
She demanded a very lot of money... not owed and disputed!!
The matter was taken to court
Zech lost and was told to hand over the cats all documents and money
Zech refused
Zech burnt the pets passports.
The bailiffs where brought in
Zech gave one cat to them
Zech kept the other cat, SHE HAD BRED OFF IT
The bailiffs went back to get the other cat 3 weeks later
The other cat is out on the 8th of August 2010
The kitten Zech claimed died and she threw them in the bin
Zech has a new website now Razzle Dazzle* Maine Coons, Maine Coons, Maine Coon Cats, Maine Coon Kittens,
Hope that makes it clear, any more questions ask

All I have to say is that I am thankful that I don't live anywhere near this "situation". I wouldn't want to have been accidentally involved like the first poster was. (The person who was buying 2 kitties, that asked what we thought of it. ) This whole ordeal totally bites! And invokes fear in folks that want to buy a kitty.

It sure does, It seems that both women are sweetness and light until something goes wrong or you change your mind.. So while they are taking your money... they are fine but wow betide you change your mind.
I have just had an email from a lady that paid a £100.00 deposit 2 years ago for a kitten from Zecoona/ Razzledazzle, She did not pull out of the kitten the kitten at 13 weeks was not well enough to be picked up.. This lady waited and waited until about 17 weeks and no reply... no kitten she is still waiting for her deposit and kitten...

Thankfully I did not have this trouble when buying Osiris. I was supposed to pay £100 for deposit but I told her I couldn't afford to do that as that is a quarter of the cats selling price. So we agreed on £50. My breeder was very cordial with me until I started poking about the territory of registering..
Before that though she brought wee man to my house and we chatted in my living room, partly cause I wanted her to see he was going to a nice home and had toys ect. I didn't get a contract or a receipt for my payment. I didn't realize any of this stuff until it was too late. The only people I tried to contact was the GCCF and sorry if I offend anyone but they were completely useless and uncooperative.
My breeder, albiet begrudingly, eventually gave me a PHOTOCOPY of the 4th Generation papers. Nothing written on it about the breeder the way it should have. Her name, address ect. I was pissed off and felt really let down about the whole process.
Anyways sorry for ranting on about it.. lol..
